About Us

Elaine Vandenbos (M.OT; B.Ed) Director

Elaine is a passionate occupational therapist who firmly believes that the best way to support children in their development is through the active engagement of the child and their family.

Elaine’s background is as a primary school teacher. She has taught in a number of schools here in Australia as well as in Canada. Elaine completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2012. After graduating as DUX from Curtin University, Elaine pursued her passion to support children who experience difficulty in learning, social activity or daily activity. Elaine is currently developing her skills, knowledge and understanding of sensory integration and is in the process of obtaining her Postgraduate Certificate in Sensory Integration through Ulster University in the UK.

Elaine continues to maintain her qualifications as a primary school teacher. Her clear understanding of child development, familiarity with the Australian Curriculum and her experience as an education support teacher enables her to support children with learning difficulties. She is presently enrolled at Edith Cowan University where she is completing her Masters of Education in Learning Difficulties.
